Obedience and Rally Show
A Group of S.O.S. students took part in an Obedience and Rally show on
June 23 & 24, 2007!

What accomplishments!
Overview
of show by Brenda:
At the Lakeland show on June 23 & 24, 2007, Gayle and Susie finished their
Rally Novice Title with 3 try's and 3 passes. This is a team to watch out for!!
Susie is only 11 months old - give them six months and they are going to be hard
to beat in the novice ring.
Terry and Whoopie got 3rd in Wildcard Novice on Sunday. Terry worked really well considering she only had one useable arm at the time. What a great job! This is a team that will do very well also as they have only been working a couple of months.
Pat
and Abner did two wonderful stands in Wildcard both Saturday and Sunday. He also
did his recall very quickly both days. Abner is a terrific little guy and he
just needs time and experience to excel in the show ring.
Cindy did a great job with her dog, Tango, and received her first leg in Novice Obedience with a 192. Cindy got her second leg in Novice the next day. To watch them you would thing they had been doing this forever! You never guess that it was their first and second time in the obedience ring. Unfortunately for Cindy, she entered the more experienced ring of B as she would have had first in Novice A. They are a wonderful team to watch.
Tickles finished her Novice Title with 3 straight passes including a 2nd and 3rd place! Her last leg of 191 was not bad for a therapy dog that never trained for the ring until this year, plus she is already six years old. Whoever said that you can't teach an old dog new tricks anyway??
Cherakee
also finished his 3rd leg and got his title with 3 straight passes but missed
1st place on Saturday because of handler error that cost a half point.
What a great time together we had. Thanks Cindy for those wonderful tuna wraps! Thanks all for the laughs and thanks to my mom for the games of aggravations. See ya at the next show on July 21st and 22nd!
