A Special Story...
Saling’s Lets Take A Chance
Born 1996 – 2006 Died
Chance
was my 1st Golden and what a dog! He tolerated all my mistakes with a heart
to please me. That was his goal, show me what you want and I’ll try was his
attitude. HE gave me my 1st High in Trial and my 1st Dog World Award. He
showed my that winning wasn’t the most important thing but that a relationship
with your dog is more important. Chance did it all - agility and obedience –
and
he was an outstanding therapy dog as well for 10 ten years. He started therapy
work at The Springs at only 6 months old. He was a huge hit with the kids.
It would take a lot of writing to tell you all the things Chance did for others
and me. He became my first service dog after my back surgery and would bring me
the remote control and pillows and other things I asked him to get. I learned to
train service dogs trough Chance which I did after I recovered. He always did
such a great job with the kids at the Shiners’ Hospital as well as with older
folks at retirement homes. Not to mention how well he did with all my grandkids.
I know the good Lord has a special place for him, as the Bible says “The
Lord will make things so good, we can’t even dream them”.
So,
along with my loved ones and friends, I am sure Chance will be there to greet me
and show me around.
Thank God I took a
Chance on him!
Your friend for
ever Chance,
Brenda
